Following a recent visit to an U7s Colts game by a scout, the team were invited to play against the Tottenham Hotspur U7s Development Squad at Kidbrooke Playing Fields in Lewisham on Tuesday 15th March.
At the session, the team played a series of short games against several of the Tottenham development teams and more than held their own in all matches, although the theme of the session was really about the overall performance of the team and individuals, rather than the scoreline.
Prior to the session, several of the U7s had already been invited to train with Tottenham and their performances on the day only reinforced the reasons why they had been selected. The players selected were Anand Batra, Roan Kennedy, Ossian Rowlands, Theo Abraham & Wilbur Knight who all had an outstanding session, as did the rest of the team, with everyone performing to the best of their ability. All the boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and benefited greatly from the experience.
