Club Update for Matches & Development Sessions – 14th March

  • As a precaution, the Clapham Rangers Development Session and Girls Academy will be suspended for three weeks (14 / 21 / 28 March)
  • League matches and training will go ahead (subject to the weather)

Dear Players and Parents

We have been asked by many of you about how the coronavirus will be impacting Clapham Rangers.

We felt it was important to update you all in as transparent a way as possible.

COVID-19 is moving fast so please be aware that this situation may change.

As a general rule we are following the advice of the UK government and NHS in relation to best practice. This guidance is available at the following link:

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

At the time of writing, unlike some other parts of the world, there has been no directive from the Government that large gatherings are banned in the UK.

As a consequence we will continue to operate CRFC on the assumption that our league games will be allowed to continue.

It is however important (and is expected) that all parents and players follow government advice in relation to self isolation and staying away from training, matches and other events, if you are worried you may have the virus, if you have been in contact with anyone who has the virus or are feeling unwell.

  • As a precaution, the Clapham Rangers Development Session and Girls Academy will be suspended for three weeks (14 / 21 / 28 March)
  • League matches and training will go ahead (subject to the weather)

With the bad weather, and now the uncertainty of the coronavirus, it has been one of our most challenging seasons.

The support and commitment of our parents, coaches and volunteers and the positive attitude of the young players continues to inspire everyone at CRFC.

If you have any questions please email us at info@claphamrangersfc.com or fixtures@claphamrangersfc.com

Thanks to everyone for your understanding during this challenging time.

Stay healthy and enjoy your football.

We will update this advice as events unfold.
