Can you help run Clapham Rangers FC, a grassroots youth football club and charity?

After a tumultuous and difficult year, the Board of Clapham Rangers remains committed to delivering a first class footballing experience for children and young people in Clapham and the surrounding areas. Currently we are busy planning to start the new season in September – squads are being confirmed, kits are being ordered and summer camps are taking place.

Clapham Rangers is a grassroots club run by a Board of volunteers and we rely on parents and friends to support the Board in meeting the club’s aims and objectives. To this end, we are seeking to recruit new members to the Board with the following skills:

  • Finance and accountancy
  • Legal support and advice
  • Communications including social media and public relations
  • Sponsorship and fundraising

The work is no more than a few hours a week and a once a month Board meeting. If you do not want to join the Board but are willing to support Board members in any of these three areas we are also very keen to hear from you. For Finance and Legal experience it would be helpful if you have some experience with Charity Commission requirements and guidelines as the Club registered as a charity last year (Registration Number 1188214).

We are also looking for a volunteer to take on the position of Kit Co-ordinator. This position involves ordering team kits, liaising with our supplier and Nike, our kit sponsor, on promotions for the online shop. Good organisational skills required but working hours  very much flexible to getting the job done. Can be a shadow position for this year with a view to full responsibility next year.

If you can help and are interested please drop an email to  fixtures@claphamrangersfc.com.
