REMINDER: The Clapham Rangers fundraising quiz is on Wednesday 1 May

Please contact your Team Coordinator to sign up for the Clapham Rangers Pub Quiz next week

  • The Clapham Rangers FC 2019 AGM will take place on Wednesday 1 May at 7pm, if you would like to become part of our committee & help us achieve our future plans.
  • This will be followed at 8:00pm by a Pub Quiz and Auction at which we will be raising money for club bursaries next season. We have some great prizes (Premier match tickets, Nike products, etc.).

For those interested in the AGM please come along at 7pm and hear about plans for the new season and some exciting news about how we want to grow the club in the future, and help raise money to enable more players to enjoy football, no matter their background. We value your views so if you would like to raise any opinions on how the club has fared this season or have any ideas for improving how the club is run please do come and make your voice heard.

For the Pub Quiz we look forward to welcoming as many as you as possible on Wednesday 1 May from 8pm. The club has run these events a couple of times previously and they are always a great night to socialise with other parents and to raise funds. The club is run as a not for profit organisation with the players fees covering the day-to-day costs of hiring the pitches, referees and paying the coaches. The main aims of the fundraising are to be able offer more bursaries to players from the wider community, whose circumstances may prevent them being able to afford to join. With over 250 boys (and a few girls) playing for the club team and in the development centre each week the aim is to provide more opportunities for young people to gain enrichment through sport. Over the coming seasons the club is aiming to be able to support 20% of players via bursaries and to kick start it’s girls teams.

Venue; upstairs at the Sun public houseย  7 Old Town, Clapham, SW4 0JL

Entry to the quiz will be ยฃ10 each.

Doors open at 7pm for the AGM and 8pm for the Quiz
