On a wet & greasy surface it took us 10mins to get used to the conditions & we then started to dominate the game, we took the lead through a Joel corner that Thomas scored with a close range header, on 20mins Sahil drilled a low shot into the far corner from right side of the box an excellent finish ! on 30mins Joel scored straight from a corner, TPR did have a couple of breakaway chances but their striker1 on 1 & Callum D was alert to their 2nd chance getting there 1st to a through ball was off target.
2nd half despite dominating the game we could not add to the score, we did hit the post & TPR only had 1 breakaway attack with a 20yd shot that just went wide (although Callum D`s flying leap had it covered, overall we had 20 shots either blocked or straight at the goalie otherwise the score would have been a lot more (all credit to TPR for some valiant defending). Rodney Jara (MOM) had an absolute stormer of a game, we played some decent football with some good passing moves & individual skills & all the players contributed well to put us back on top of the division. Semi-Final up next 3rd Feb away to Tuff Colts.
