Message from the Chairman

Hello players, parents and friends of Clapham Rangers FC,

With the festive season almost upon us, on behalf of the Director of Football, Coaches, Team Co-ordinaries and Committee Members, we would all like to wish you and your families the best for the holidays.

I would also like to take this opportunity to discuss a couple of points regarding the season so far.

I hope the players are enjoying themselves and feel they are improving with every game played. I know there have been some issues with a couple of senior teams regarding numbers but I am aware that we are working to resolve these matters.

It is worth noting that the Club as a whole is doing very well with some teams undefeated so far. Well done to those teams and coaches.

We are a Club that constantly want to make ourselves better and we can only do that if we listen to our players and parents.  So please feel free to contact myself or any of the committee members who will be happy to help.

We are planning a quiz night for the Parents and Coaches for Feb/March 2017 (more details to follow soon) as a Club Social event.  It would be great if you could make a real effort to attend.

I would continue to ask that wherever possible, parents try and help out. In any capacity possible, whether that be on match day, (if you fancy yourself as a referee if the official one doesn’t turn up) or when the Club needs you, it’s always appreciated.

On that note, I would like to make special note to those parents who have volunteered their time as Team co-ordinators and especially those who have been part of the Committee for this season.  They have volunteered a lot of their time and energy to try and make the Football Club the best it can be.  We still have a long way to go but we are getting there.

All the best for the holiday season and wishing you a successful 2017, both on and off the football pitch.

Happy holidays!

Frank Trimboli
