SUMMARY

Excellent teamwork from the U15s, who came from behind twice to earn a well-deserved draw with the Tigers in a truly exciting match. After LT went ahead in the first half, the boys dug deep and in the second half Nico pulled the team level, thanks to a well-placed cross from Jered. It looked like the hard work had paid off…. until Lambeth Tigers pulled ahead again minutes later. CRFC stayed focussed and pushed back and were rewarded when, with only four minutes left to play, Ethan crossed the ball from the far right of the pitch. Somehow the ball hit the far-left post and was deflected into the back of the net. Was it a cross? Was it a shot? No-one cares! Ethan was mobbed by the players while the spectators rejoiced. All were happy with a 2-2 draw with these great opponents. The U15s are now unbeaten in four matches.
