A good start to the new season, with pleasing perfomances from all, including debutants Callum, Cameron, Ayman & Inigo.

Julio scored his first goal for the Club 5mins in, picking the ball up in the inside left channel 10 yards inside their half, going round one player & holding off another to burst into the box & slotting into the far corner. Man of the Match Julio then set up Sahil for number 2, before releasing Joel to score number 3. Their Goalie made several one on one saves (from Joel 2, Sahil 2) but could do nothing to stop Sahil rifling into the far bottom corner for his 2nd of the game.

Camberwell pulled a goal back with a break away after we went a bit too gungo ho by pushing too many players forward. Realising that we had to still be sensible in our attacking play, we forced a corner that Joel crossed in for Dan to ghost in & side foot volley into the corner of the net. Joseph had a goal disallowed, I think for offside, Half Time 5-1.

2nd half the wind got stronger forcing us to defend deep for the 1st 10mins & resist the pressure Camberwell put on us. normal service was resumed once we got the ball down & played & but for their Goalie who made at least 5 one on one saves denying Ayman (who gave their left back a torrid time, he constantly had to foul him), Joel, Joseph, Inigo & Sahil all from good passing moves & through balls. We eventually added to the score through a Sahil penalty for his hat trick after their Goalie had brought him down.

Tawab almost set up another goal when the Goalie could hold onto his free kick.

Full time 6-1 (I thought it was 7 but might be wrong)
