Brief Match Summary:
Another clinical start from Clapham, who scored within the first three minutes of the match and very quickly after that doubled their advantage. However, Bedhead proved resilient opponents who defended well, counter attacked when given the opportunity and pulled a goal back, before Clapham re-established a two goal cushion shortly before half time. After the interval, Clapham immediately pressed forward again and scored two quick goals, to take the score to 5-2 and the match seemingly beyond Bedhead. Despite the task in hand, Bedhead rallied and scored twice themselves and the game was a close contest for a while, until three more quick strikes from Clapham finally settled the match. Special mention this week to Max Graham, who defended heroically throughout, including a vital goal line clearance when the match was in the balance at 1-0 and was deservedly named man of the match for his performance.
