Brief Match Summary:
Clapham were under pressure from the start of the match and most of the early part of the game was played in their half. Although they scored the opener (after five minutes) and were briefly in the lead, this match proved to be the sternest test of the season. Balham weren’t behind for too long, equalising after just over ten minutes and the first half ended 1-1. Balham started the second half strongly as well and soon took the lead for the first time in the match. Even though Clapham managed to get back on equal terms, Balham continued to attack and were quickly back in front. At 3-2, they further extended their lead within a couple of minutes and before the end of the game, scored again. The match finished 5-2 and despite fighting hard throughout, Clapham lost to a better team who were deserved winners.
