Great game played in a great spirit as is always the case against Pure. The first half was very tight with the strong wind favouring Clapham but with the some good saves from the Pure keeper, particularly from Anna end passing move from Clapham the game was goalless at half time.
Despite now playing against the wind Clapham were far more dominant in the second half. Many chances came there way and eventually they were righty awarded a penalty which Charlie duly despatched.
Clapham had several more chances to finish the game off but Pure was always dangerous on the break and with the very last kick of the match they found the net. Pure have been unlucky in the past two games against us so it’s hard to begrudge them the point.
