U11 Youths L 2 -5 (HT 0-2) (Billy, Matheo) MOM : Billy Whitewick

Louie Williams; Charles Calzia, Malcolm Orsot, Miles Hitchcock; Matisse Dubois-Pellerin, Matheo Mesny (C), Ruben Mauricio, Billy Whitewick; Kyle Baker; Angus Ritchie, Marco Bullock;

Played well, dodgy pen after 10 mins 0-1, 2 nil down at half time (although not a lot between the sides), 2nd half played really well with Billy taking a calmly dinked goal 1-2 straight form ko poor concentration let them straight back in 1-3,  trying to get back in the game caught with counter attack, 1-4, then well placed shot  from Matheo, then pushing forward again caught on the counter 2-5.  A pleasing performance from all the lads, St Mathews edged it in this Colts Division game, although score not a fair reflection of the game.

U13 Colts L 1-5 (HT 0-5) Lambeth Tigers (H) (Tom Chiabi) MOM : Ben Cox

With only 10 players the instructions were : be disciplined in your positions, keep your shape, track runners, well that went out the window after 10 mins ! when players started chasing the ball 0-1 ! then same 0-2, same again 0-3, 0-4 , 0-5. HT. Set them the task of keeping clean sheet 2nd half & do what I had advised pre-match. Charlie went of injured halfway through the half, 15 mins to go Tom hit a free kick top corner & with 9 men finished by winning the half 1 nil ! The ref & their coaches praised the lads for our 2nd half performance. If only they had done that from the off, who knows….
